Boating is the most popular among all recreational activities in Nepal. Rich in its water resources, ample of Lakes and rivers are serving boating recreational activities in Nepal. Pokhara, being the tourism capital of the nation, is no exception to it. There are boating activities available in Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake and Rupa Lake. In this boating tour, we’ll take you to the boat ride in the second largest Phewa Lake in Nepal.
The Mt. fishtail reflecting on the surface of the Lake, the island temple of Goddess Barahi, the white stupa uphill and the flying Paragliders and Ultra lights adds up to the beauty of this Lake. Here, you can make a choice of your boat among the driven boats, row boats and sailboats.
09.00hrs: Pickup from hotel and sightseeing around Lakeside destinations.
The driver picks you from the hotel and we will visit the famous International Mountain Museum, Tibetan Refugee camp where the Tibetan refugees sell and showcase their arts of ancient Tibet, David falls, the underground George and Gupteshor Mahadev temple during the first half of the day tour.
13.00hrs: Lunch break.
We’ll enjoy our Lunch at a local Thakali restaurant and rejuvenate ourselves.
14.00hrs: Boating at Phewa Lake.
After finishing our lunch, we’ll approach the Phewa lake and hire a boat along with a boat man. We’ll first ride the boat to the island temple of Taal Barahi goddess. After there, we’ll ride across the Lake listing the birds creeping nearby the forests surrounding the jungle, feeling the cool lake breeze and watching the flying ultra lights and gliders. The Majestic Mt. Fishtail shines like a jewel amid the surface of the Lake reflecting the sunlight. We’ll view the sunset.
17.00hrs: Drive back to the hotel.
After our boat ride and sunset view, we’ll drive back to our hotel.
